William Byrd

Will is a Research Assistant within the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre at LSE, involved in evidence synthesis and analysis for the DeNPRU Exeter projects. Previously, he has contributed to projects focusing on the Covid-19 pandemic and long-term care, specifically, interventions to mitigate negative impacts, impacts on unpaid carers, and policy changes adopted internationally. In 2022, he was awarded an NIHR SSCR Career Development Award to focus on developing his qualitative skills, and drafting a PhD application. His interests lie in resilience, the relationship between knowledge and practice, and the workforce.
